Detailed programs
GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix provides at no cost educational, therapeutic, wellness, social, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome from infancy through adulthood. Our programs are designed to support communication, learning, health, independence, confidence, social connection, and meaningful community participation.

Amina Grace Speech & Language Program
Amina Grace provides individualized 1:1 speech and language therapy for individuals with Down syndrome. Services are provided by licensed speech-language professionals and focus on functional communication, speech clarity, expressive and receptive language, social communication, AAC support, confidence, and caregiver education. This program serves participants across the lifespan, with priority given to young children, individuals not receiving speech therapy elsewhere, adults who are no longer eligible for school-based services, and families facing barriers to accessing therapy.

Teen and Adult Group Speech Programs
Teen and Adult Group Speech programs provide structured opportunities for participants to practice conversation, social communication, self-advocacy, problem-solving, and functional communication in a supportive group setting. These programs help participants build confidence, connect with peers, and use communication skills in real-life social situations.

LMNOP
LMNOP is an early childhood program that supports language development, movement, music, social engagement, and caregiver-child interaction. The program helps young children build early communication, imitation, participation, and readiness skills while also giving families strategies they can use at home.

Leaps & Bounds
Leaps & Bounds supports young children as they develop early learning, social, communication, and motor skills. Activities are designed to promote participation, independence, peer interaction, and school readiness in a developmentally supportive environment.

1:1 Literacy Tutoring
Our literacy tutoring program provides individualized reading instruction for participants with Down syndrome. Tutoring supports letter recognition, phonics, sight words, reading comprehension, vocabulary, confidence, and enjoyment of books. Each participant works at their own pace with support tailored to their learning needs.

1:1 Math Tutoring
Math tutoring provides individualized instruction to help participants build foundational and functional math skills. Areas of focus may include number recognition, counting, basic operations, time, money, problem-solving, and everyday math skills that support independence.

GiGiFIT
GiGiFIT programs promote physical health, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and healthy habits. Programs are offered for different age groups and are designed to address the unique needs of individuals with Down syndrome while supporting confidence, participation, and lifelong wellness.

Target Audience
GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix serves individuals with Down syndrome from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood, along with their families and caregivers. Our programs are designed for infants, children, teens, and adults with Down syndrome, including individuals who need support with communication, literacy, math, fitness, social skills, independence, career readiness, and community participation.

We also serve parents, siblings, grandparents, and caregivers by providing education, connection, resources, and a welcoming community of support.
