Grants to Wyoming emergency medical service providers, fire departments, and law enforcement agencies for initiatives that promote the mental health of service providers. Funding is intended to deliver and improve access to mental health services for first responders. Preference is given to collaborations and partnerships between agencies.
Projects will be further prioritized based on the following:
Identifies or responds to a need for first responder and/or law enforcement mental health support.
Creates sustainability.
Includes partnerships or collaborations with other community agencies.
Some examples of potential projects include:
Regional or Multi-County Train the Trainer Courses
Increase Mental Health Access and Awareness
Peer to Peer Support Programs
The Agency will consider requests to provide:
Data-driven programs or strategies that build capacity within existing community assets, while minimizing duplication of effort.
Programs or strategies that emphasize collaboration with diverse community partners to deliver culturally appropriate, effective, and sustainable practices appropriate for the population being served.
Emergency medical service providers, including paid or volunteer fire departments, and county and municipal law enforcement agencies may apply.
If your organization is part of a larger association that would like to apply for funding on your organization’s behalf, the Agency will accept collaborative applications.

The due date for applications is May 31, 2023.
Grantees are required to have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) registered with SAM.gov and provide a Certificate of Good Standing through the Secretary of State’s office.
